Personal Bio
Jewne is an Ottawa native who has also lived in Kingston, Jamaica for years. She is a strong willed Gemini and loves the important things in life, food, family; especially her brother, Michael Brooks, friends...and Mariah.

This multi-talented young female has always had a passion for the arts. Jewne has involved herself in many different facets of this genre, including teaching stage performance at 17 at My School of Music. Jewne also worked as a stage coordinator around this time. She helped teach models how to talk and helped with clothing and fashion decisions.

Fashion and the stage is one thing but music is another. Jewne started a group called Notorious Angels Dance Crew and was soon appointed manager by her group members. This was a sign as to what she would accomplish later in life. She also went to a singing camp, called Jam Clinic for two years. Jewne has competed in various singing competitions around the city and has been brave enough to try out for Canadian Idol twice.

When Jewne was 21, she started her own company called Klassic Arts. She had so many ideas but at this point in her life was not a strong businesswoman. She tried many different things and some did not work out. The company didn’t quite get off the ground but Jewne takes this as a positive learning experience.

After a few more years in the game and a few more birthdays, Jewne started her new web-based talk show called In Da Industry. Jewne had new ideas and knew how to make them work. Jewne wanted to create an ‘umbrella’, a way for people to connect and spread their ideas and participate and be involved in local events and shows. With this company, Jewne wants to bring her new, innovative style to Ottawa’s forefront.

Jewne is constantly fighting for the underdog. She believes that talent in Ottawa and Canada is hidden and needs to be exposed. Networking Agencies are expensive and most up-and-coming artists simply don’t have the cash to showcase their talents, or make themselves known. In Da Industry is a company for the people. Jewne wishes to help these artists and performers by providing them a way to showcase themselves that does not break the bank. With new ideas for advertising and new ways to become involved, there is something for everyone at this company.

Jewne has big dreams and wishes to inspire and uplift people from the inside out. In Da Industry has a plan to take Ottawa’s market by storm and be involved on many different levels.

In Da Industry hopes to showcase Ottawa’s new talent and expose what this city has to offer. With this new, innovative company and its process, In Da Industry hopes to preserve Ottawa’s true roots while helping them expand and grow.
