DESCRIPTION:This course will teach you basic bookkeeping skills for yo
 ur business. We will cover accounting terminology, how to set up and m
 aintain your bookkeeping system in QuickBooks Simple Start, and year-e
 nd archiving. This course will not prepare you for setting up and/or m
 aintaining other business’ accounting..\n\nThis is a 1-week, self-pa
 ced course, which consists of two sessions and a short research projec
 t. It will be offered every third week through June. Lessons 1-2 & the
  research project will be released on Mondays and lessons 3-4 and the 
 final exam will be released the following Wednesdays.\n\nCourse Length
 : 1 week beginning 02/08/2010\n\nResearch Due: 2/10/2010\n\nNext Lesso
 n & Final Exam Uploaded: 2/10/2010\n\nFinal Exam Due: 2/12/2010\n\nGra
 ding: * The final exam requires a minimum grade of 80% to graduate. * 
 The research project and the final exam must be turned in on time to b
 e\naccepted due to the short length of this class.\n\nResearch: You wi
 ll be required to find specific information on both the IRS and your l
 ocal state department of revenue websites.\n\nCourse: * Students are e
 ncouraged to interact and email me any questions. The instructor will 
 respond to all questions within 24 hours Monday through Friday.\n\nMis
