Dance To A Different Drum, Inc., formally
established in 1998, is a nonprofit tax-exempt
501(c)3 cultural arts education and
dance theatre production organization.
Our artist-in-residency and assembly performances
touch over 20,000 people
throughout Georgia each year. We work to
bring about knowledge and understanding
of contemporary issues and are dedicated
to building communities through our work
with other nonprofit organizations.
Our cultural arts education and dance
theatre productions celebrate and preserve
African and African-American traditional
arts, and encompass the principles of unity,
self-determination, collective work & responsibility;
cooperative economics, creativity,
faith, justice and self-love.
