This is KMQ Primary school. The school is about 20kms from kajiado town. We found that this school in most of the regions we visited had the most candidates reason being thanks to ATHI RIVER MINING CO. kenya,  which has funded a rescue dormitory facility for the girls which accommodates approx 80 girls.Most of the pupils are housed there and even during vacation, those who fear going home for certain reasons stay there as the rest break for holidays.The school has above 700pupils with less than 15 teachers for the pupils which affects performance too because the teachers get overworked and dont manage to finish the syllabus in time. There are no staff quarters in most of these schools leading teachers to walk very long distances since transport facilities are rare in these areas. Thats why most teachers will fear going to these areas and we only get the few leaving around these areas are the ones who manage.
