Profile Information

Personal Bio
my name is Christina Collins . I am 25 years old and grew up on the harsh streets of north philly, and Germentown. During my sophmore year in highschool my family moved to New Jersey and hoped for a better situation than what they had left. After Highschool i attended the College of New Jersey(also known as Trenton State College) in Ewing,Nj.where i majored in Communications: Television,Radio, &Film. I aspired to be a movie or television director where i could showcase my artistic vision for film. Then i transferred due to financial reasons and attended Rowan University in Glassboro ,NJ.
I am an aspiring poet and author that believes "Poetry is the window to the soul."I have been writing poetry since i was 9 years old about my struggles growing up in philadelphia. i wrote my first screen play during my junior year in highschool. I have written tons of poetry and recently just finished my first novel entitled "Maroon Diamond", and i have yet to be published. I enjoy spoken word and all forms of creative venting (visual art, poetry, novels, music , ect..). I attend numerous of annual spoken word gatherings and seminars monthly where i share and have shared my poetry and artistic capabilities. I currently reside in South Jersey and just had my first child, a beautiful baby boy.

Please check out Maafa21 Black Genocide in 21st Century America

They were stolen from their homes, locked in chains and taken across an ocean. And for more than 200 years, their blood and sweat would help to build the richest and most powerful nation the world has ever known.

But when slavery ended, their welcome was over. America's wealthy elite had decided it was time for them to disappear and they were not particular about how it might be done.

What you are about to see is that the plan these people set in motion 150 years ago is still being carried out today. So don't think that this is history. It is not. It is happening right here, and it's happening right now.
