The Afrikan Community Sustainability Collective welcomes you on your journey to self-sufficiency. On January 28-February 1, we will present the first (virtual) Sustainability Summit focused on serving members of the Afrikan diaspora and connecting thought leaders. Keynote sessions are built around the most pressing issues in the Black community and will feature members who are doing the work. Strategic areas of focus include:
Starting January 28, for five (5) days of best practices and how-to information as we explore practical ways to incorporate sustainability into our daily lives, homes and communities.
Sustainable Food Production Historic Black Townships
Alternative Energy Water Purification and Irrigation
Eco Friendly Building Practices Food Preservation
Community Development Survival/Preparedness/Protection
Current Sustainable Communities
Our goal is to assist others in creating communities dedicated to returning to the ways of our Ancestors by living in harmony with nature, growing our own food and using the natural energies of air, fire, water and the earth to thrive.
We invite you to join us on our mission to:
mobilize committed Afrikan people,
implement skills and,
pool our resources to build sustainable communities throughout the Afrikan diaspora and on the continent.
We look forward to building interrelationships between Blacks/Afrikans living in or working to create sustainable communities with novices, intermediate level and advanced level attendees willing and ready to create or become a part of a sustainable community. This summit will bridge the communication gap between those Afrikans already working in sustainable communities globally. Join us and become an integral component of this historic event!
